Research Interests
I work at the intersection of machine learning and gravitational-wave astronomy. The type of astrophysical sources I study are core-collapse supernovae and mergers of dense compact objects like neutron stars and black holes. I've worked extensively with neural networks to build models that can enable the study of these sources, and am particularly interested in the interpretably of these ML models.
